Cheapest 360 Pet Dog Food by $/lb

360 Pet Nutrition is a brand that has carved out a niche in the freeze-dried raw dog food market. Unlike many mainstream brands that focus on kibble, 360 Pet is known for its singular focus on raw, nutrient-dense formulas that require minimal processing. Their approach is rooted in the belief that dogs thrive on a diet closer to what their ancestors ate, emphasizing whole meats, organs, and bones without the fillers or artificial additives common in many processed foods. The brand's flagship product, and the only one currently tracked in our catalog, is its multi-protein freeze-dried raw dog food. This formula typically includes a blend of beef, chicken, and fish, providing a diverse array of amino acids and fatty acids. By freeze-drying the ingredients, the company aims to preserve the nutritional integrity of the raw components—including enzymes, vitamins, and minerals—while making the food shelf-stable and convenient to serve. The food is reconstituted with water, creating a moist, palatable meal that also helps with hydration. From a price perspective, 360 Pet sits firmly in the premium tier. With its single product priced at $24.97 per pound, it comes in slightly above the overall category average of $22.55 per pound for dry dog foods on our site. This higher cost is characteristic of freeze-dried raw foods, which involve more expensive ingredients and a more complex manufacturing process than conventional kibble. The price reflects the brand’s positioning as a high-end, specialized nutritional choice. This brand is best suited for dog owners who are committed to a raw-food philosophy but seek the convenience of a prepared product. It’s an excellent option for those looking to provide a high-protein, grain-free diet with nutrient-dense superfoods, or for dogs with sensitivities to the fillers found in some kibbles. However, owners on a tight budget or those with large-breed dogs may find the cost prohibitive for daily feeding. For these buyers, 360 Pet could serve as a meal topper to boost the nutritional value of a more affordable base kibble.
